Second time mom here... I had my beautiful baby girl July 2nd. She is a strong girl and we are having a better start to breastfeeding than I did with her older brother (no need for nipple shields, yay!). But still, breastfeeding these first few months is HARD!!! I have the advantage of knowing it gets easier after a few months. We will find a rhythm, she will get even stronger with her feeds, and we will get on a schedule eventually.

Just wanted to share this with the first time moms out there. Breastfeeding is hard and different for everyone. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t. I want to give moms hope that the first month doesn’t reflect how the rest of the journey will be.
