Should I go in??

Question

I had an appointment today currently 38 weeks 6 days(39 weeks tomorrow) and I’ve been having contractions since yesterday doctor said I’m 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced he just told me to keep track of them and go in when contractions were stronger.

Yes you should go in! Also go by the 5-1-1 rule. Go in if you’re contractions are every 5 minutes, lasting for 1 minute, for 1 hour long.

I would! I had my daughter today and my contractions never actually got regular until
I was 7 cm and in the hospital! It’s always best to call and get checked especially if you know the cramps are picking up in intensity or the lain doesn’t subside when you move around or switch positions

I would call, and maybe go in to at least get checked. Sometimes contractions don’t get completely regular, and those are close enough together, that it wouldn’t hurt to call and possibly go in.
