Advice please!!

My bf has been distant towards me lately and I asked him why and he said it was because of something I said the other day while we were arguing .I apologize and explained to him I didn’t mean it that way but it’s been a week and he’s still acting the same .he hasn’t told me I love you in a while and the last time he did it’s because I said it and he doesn’t even kiss me ,if we do I have to do it first ,I change infront of him and he doesn’t even look at me .before he use to be all over me now idk what’s going on :/ I feel like he just feels he doesn’t have to try as hard because I live w him .or idk if he’s still upset over the argument .should I just stop trying to and be cold back ?? Or keep trying and for how long ??
