Stroller - use bassinet or car seat?

Question

For those who have a stroller with bassinet attachment, how do you like it? I have the baby jogger city select lux. I have a toddler so I’ll be using it as a double. I used a car seat and adapter with my first. Once I was healed, we went on daily walks and I plan to do the same this time. So it gets a lot of use. I’m wondering if I should just plan to use car seat again or if it would be worth buying the bassinet attachment.

We used our uppababy bassinet a ton when our daughter was an infant. Probably up until like 3months old. She liked it! And if she fell asleep during walks I could just carry her inside and set her down because it’s night time sleep safe. They say you’re not supposed to let babies sleep in car seats outside of moving cars and strollers. So that’s something to consider if you want to stick to that rule/suggestion

I bought the bassinet from maxi cosi as a car seat. It’s called the Jade and is the first I-size car seat bassinet that has been approved for safety. So I’m excited not having the put my newborn in a car seat and thinking about the 30min limit.

I have the uppababy vista which came with a bassinet. My son hated it and we barely ended up using it. Ended up switching him over to the regular seat with the infant cushion as soon as we could. Hoping this baby will actually like the bassinet... but I don’t feel like it’s a huge deal to just skip it.

Just purchased the Chicco Urban 6 in 1 and am so excited for the bassinet feature.  Also has the adapter for the car seat if we want.
