Should I Text Him?

I texted the guy I'm kind of with like 10 sdays ago and he never replied. He apologized and said he ignored it to answer it when he had time and forgot. Nbd. On Friday when we were talking in person I was like "it's going to be your job to text me okay" kind of joking and he's like "oh absolutely". 
Well....I've heard nothing. I know he's still interested in me and everyhng is okay with us. I was thinking of sending him "You're not very good at your job 😝" or something along those lines. Should I or should I just leave it alone?
