Okay for 12 week old to sleep in this?

Hi friends! We were given a used Grace pack n play. Is it okay for our 12 week old to sleep on his back in a swaddle in this? I ask because we’ve only ever had him sleep in a Bassinet by our bed and haven’t used a pack n play yet. The pack n play mattress seems softer and cushier than the bassinet mattress. Thanks in advance!

We do the same as Tori mentioned above. We got a 3 inch mini crib mattress for the pack n play to give him more cushion. He's been in there since he was 10 weeks old. He sleeps 6-7 hours straight too!

Yes, but be careful it will hurt your back lifting and putting down so low

My first slept in one when he was born because we couldn’t afford a crib. He did fine.

I dont see why not. My daughter is 10 weeks old and so far we've only had her sleeping in a pack and play in our room (besides day time naps in her crib in her own room).

My son slept in the pack in play in our room from birth to 8 weeks when we transitioned him to his crib.
