Any one else feel like as a Lesbian/Bisexual who has a child that girls loose interest quick when they hear you have a child?

I have a one child and have been on and off dating and I feel like every time I'm interested in a girl and they're interested in me then I bring up my child and *poof* they're gone. I know that clearly none of those girl's are for me but it's hella frustrating. Then with guys they just don't care and wanna fuck but it's like girls don't like girls with kid's or something expcially one's who have none. Idk maybe it's just me or the age demographic I'm going for. Ugh.
