Frequent bowl movement / on my third trimester

Hello ladies so I have a weird question, so I am pregnant with my first baby and I am 36 weeks going on 37. Ever sense I got to my last trimester I have been pooping about three to four times a day, now I’ve called my midwife in regards to this because I was a bit concerned and found it to be a little abnormal, but every time I tell them they always tell me that it is normal, it’s not diarrhea but it is soft and sometimes a green color. I’ve heard many rumors but i’m not quit sure why my body is cleaning its self out the way it is could I maybe be dilating and going to labor soon?? Idk ladies help me out because my due date isn’t until the 27 of this month and my midwife doesn’t want to check me to see if i’m dilating for what ever reason
