Diaper leaking!?

Help! :( All the sudden I’m having issues with my son leaking pee. Am I doing something wrong? Not checking soon enough? It’s been happening mostly at night. But I even set my alarm sooner tonight so I can try to avoid it but it still happened and he even woke up before my alarm went off. :( or am I using the wrong brand? We’ve been using huggies. He’s about to be two weeks old on Tuesday.

Might sound stupid but I didn’t know with my first son 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ make sure you point his penis down when you change his diaper. If it’s pointing up it could leak out the top. We use pampers swaddles for NB & size 1 but find that past size 1, luvs work best for our boys. Good luck!

May sound weird but make sure you are pointing his penis down when you change his diapers. With my son if I forgot to, it was almost a guarentee he would leak out of the top and sometimes the sides. Didn't matter what kind or size of diaper he was in. It was also the first tip my pediatrician gave me about diaper changes.

Diaper could be too small or too big, or just not on snug enough. also make sure to pull the ruffles out around the back of the thighs.

I just switched my son from buggies too luvs and haven’t had a leak since I also push his stuff down in the front that makes a difference also but I swear it was those diapers 😂.

Make sure it’s high enough at the back. If I put my boys on to loose or not high enough at the back, he gets a wet back :/

I use huggies and he leaked through them from the side when he was around 2-3 weeks and I had to go up to size 1.

I had this problem with my first son and I have it again with my second. Regardless of diaper lol.
