Does anyone else suffer from fibrocystic breasts? Any advice on how to prevent them getting worse?

I was diagnosed with fibrocystic breasts, lots of them, a couple of months ago all of a sudden at the age of 37. Last month, one of them turned into an abscess which had to be aspirated with a giant syringe. I had to use two weeks of antibiotics.

I’m not even lactating, never had children. I’m not on any hormones, birth control pills etc. the only thing is I was given sertralin for mild depression 6 months ago, and I thought it might be related. Also, I’ve put on a lot of weight and have a very stressful job (ICU nurse!!).

Yesterday I felt like the same breast pain is starting to develop. I am freaking out. I don’t know if I can tolerate another abscess.

I stopped caffeine, taking evening primrose oil every day, I’m off antidepressants, eating healthily and exercising. Doing yoga everyday and drinking lots of water. I havr no idea whether they’re gonna work or not. But I’m ready to do anything that might work.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻
