I’m 31 weeks along with my first boy and I can’t decide if I want him circumcised or not. My fiancé wants him circumcised and his reason is “I am and I’m glad my parents did it” also his other reason is that of a females preference that “No one wants an uncircumcised guy” . I think his reasonings are pretty shallow.

I find it very hard to be okay with the idea of having my 1 day old’s genitals be cut, it makes me uncomfortable. I know this is something both parents should agree on but when I try to look up information on the pros and cons of both I just find the same things and some of them aren’t really informative. I tried asking men in my family how they felt and a lot of them said they’re glad they are circumcised because it’s cleaner, but I feel like if the uncircumcised penis is taken care of properly it will be clean. But I don’t want my son to hate me in the future because I decided not to 🤦🏻‍♀️
