At 41w 2d my baby girl Audrey entered the world 🥰😍 I started induction yesterday evening. Contractions started a few hours after the medication was inserted into my cervix. I got checked at about 6am this morning as my water had broke and was only 4cm so I figured id have a few more hours so they were going to start pitocen. I asked for the epidural as my contractions where becoming more intense and lasting longer. I had the epidural put in and within 20 mins I went from 4cm to 10cm and she was already crowning so the epidural didn’t work. It was painful to say the least and I now know the definition of “ring of fire” 😩. But I ended up only having a 1st degree tear with 3 stitches needed. Recovery is going well as I really don’t need pain medication. Getting up and down is a little hard but I cannot complain!
