The mystery pregnancy continues:

So, I ovulate late. I think I could be about 4-5 days behind menstrual calculations, but still should be 5-6 weeks.

Anyways; I’ve had 4 chemical/early losses. This is positive test 5 in my TTC journey of 8 years. So I prepared myself for a loss because I wasn’t trying. My first HCG was 110, the next 48 hours later was 258, (great news) then I started a little bleeding and 72 hours later my HCG was only 296. My doctor didn’t call it a loss then though. 48 hours after that 376.

My doctor put me on progesterone even though I’m mentally preparing for a blighted ovum. I want this uncertainty done.

So, I go in yesterday. There is no sign of a pregnancy in my uterus or in my tubes, or ovaries. No gestational sac, nothing. They tested my HCG level and it’s over 1800 now, which is actually more than doubling every 48 hours from my last test of 376.

Does anyone have any ideas? Any similar experience? HCG over 1500 plus a pregnancy age of no less than 5 weeks and not even a gestational sac visible?
