So I’ve been talking to this guy for a while now. We have a large age gap. It doesn’t bother me though Bc we get along so well, have many things in common, he treats me so damn well, etc. We live like 6hours from each other.

Anyhow, we spent the weekend together, and we had sex for the 1st time together, it just a amazing weekend. He treated me like a real princess and I have never been treated like that before.

Long store short, I’m moving to another state for school( not his state) and my friend was looking up sex offenders around the schools we going to, bc that’s just what she does lol.

So this morning I got the bright idea to look up his name bc why not? And he is on the sex offender list. I have no idea what to do with this information.

Should I say something to him about? Should I let it go?.... I really like him. But since me being young and now finding this. I don’t know what to do. How would I bring it up??

I did some time line stuff, and this happened before he was married and had his daughter. I would have never thought he would be on a sex offender page, And I feel like if his ex wife thought something she wouldn’t let him see their daughter..

Update: my anxiety is through the now, I’m thinking I have aids or some other std. and we are 27 years apart. Bro this mans knows where I’m going to school, and everything. Ima have a panic attack. I want to bring it up to him to see what he has to say for himself, I know that sounds dumb but I do. I just don’t know how to say it.

2nd update: I texted him and asked him if he has ever lied to me( that’s all I said). He told me that he has never lied to me about anything but there are somethings that happened in his passed and he would like to tell me about them, just doesn’t know the right time to talk about it, bc he didn’t want to freak me out.

So I played dumb and told him that he could tell me about it after I got off work yesterday. ( yes I know I’ve read what you guys said about cutting contact. But sorry a girl really wanted to know and I wanted to see if he would lie anymore. So I didn’t text him anymore and then 4 hours later he called me.

Now this is a kinda long story but ima type it out anyway.😂 this all what he said:

So he was 30yr old married to his 1st wife. The business he had at the time was going bankrupt, his marriage was complete crap they were on the road to divorce. He wasn’t happy mentally, just at a bad place in life. This around time Internet was like a big thing. So he said he would get on and chat to people. Girls and guys. It was like a escape from reality to him.

He started talking to this girl, who he thought was college age. He said she said all right things to make him feel good/happy. He had sent this girl pictures of himself and talked about pictures (that’s why he is charged with the one thing) and they talked about meeting up at some grocery store.

He found out the girls age was 13.(yeah I know). He said they stopped talking for while. He didn’t care to message her. But the girl kept blowing up his phone,etc. so he texted back. He then later told the girl that he didn’t want to meet up anymore, he wasn’t doing it. Well as he was walking out of a chicken place 5 cops were there pointing guns at his head.

Bc the “girl” wasn’t a girl. But a freaking FBI agent.

Also they searched his house,phone,computers. Anything you can think of and didn’t find anything.

Long story short he took a plea deal and ended up doing 5 1/2 years in federal prison. after he got out is when he met his 2nd wife and had his daughter. His 2nd wife knows everything that happened and even went to court with him. When they divorced it was bad but got equal custody of her.

He said I can take the info how ever I do. He said that he is crazy about me. My age should turn him away in a way it does. Though he feels something real with me. But that again he likes me, spending time with me and I’ve made him so happy. Although we are in two different places, he still wants to see what could happen.
