Longer than normal/ heavier period

Hi everyone, I have not posted here before! I’m kind of freaking out.

I had my period like normal over the course of seven days. It was getting light, like normal, and close to stopping. I had sex with my boyfriend and now it’s like I’m having a whole new period. It’s really heavy, and now day nine (continuing from my seven day period).

Has this happened to anyone before?
