So I’m scrolling through Facebook yesterday and it pops up that my boyfriend is now friends with this girl. So naturally I go look at her page because this is someone I don’t know. As I’m looking I see that he liked her profile picture. (See below) At this point I’m just so disappointed in him.

He was in the shower so I hadn’t said anything. I used to go through his phone but haven’t in a very long time because I had no reason too. That just didn’t sit right with me though so I decided to go through his phone. Low and behold I find a screenshot of the same picture he liked on Facebook on his phone and a screenshot of her profile. I’m beyond livid and delete the pictures off his phone.

I wasn’t going to say anything and just see how it played out but me being me I was festering on it and just couldn’t keep quite. Later that night I confronted him about it. He said he has no idea how they were friends and that he didn’t request her or like her picture. He did own up to having the screenshots on his phone. I simply asked why he had them and he said “because she looked good so I took a screenshot to go back and look at later”. Then proceeds to say “sometimes when I’m sitting on the couch I just want something good looking to look at”.

Everything about the conversation just crushed me. I don’t know what to do. He tells me I am overreacting and that I have issues and am insecure. He says “He doesn’t care that I’m upset about it that there is nothing wrong with it. That’s what he does all day is look at girls. I’m a man it’s in my DNA and that he is never going to change. If you’re upset you are going to have to just get over it “

Am I wrong for being so upset? How would up ladies feel about it?

Side note: we have been together for 3 years, live together and I just had our son 5 weeks ago
