So I scheduled my induction for Wednesday but Sawyer decided he wanted to come on Monday! So I got home from my doctor appointment at 5 and started getting contractions that were just continuous with no break. I called the doctor and they told me to go in, fast forward to 11-11:30 when I finally got my epidural when they started the process I was 7 cm dilated but by the time it finally started working i was 9 cm. I started pushing at 11:50 and he was born at 12:20 today! He was in the nicu and still is because he couldn’t breathe on his own but now his mask is gone and his oxygen tube is out, they just want to monitor him until tomorrow and then he will likely be in the room with me.
