My boyfriend and I are expecting our first baby together. We live apart since we are both single parents. We both are financially independent from each other, but I’m the more stable of us two.

I am half way through my pregnancy and he has contributed nothing financially. I have paid the $4000 in prenatal and fees preparing for our home birth. He claims those are all my responsibilities since he just wants to go to the hospital. Which is not free either by the way!! Additionally, I bought all of the baby supplies we have so far. He hasn’t offered anything, only his opinion on how his son won’t be wearing my preference in clothing! The icing on the cake is that he recently asked me to borrow several hundred dollars which makes me livid as I see him buy lots of unnecessary things for himself.

I’m so annoyed. What should I do?
