Sooo when I first got with my SO I made sure to get tested immediately knowing he had so many sexual partners in the past. Everything came back clear.

Fast forward to two years later I got an annual pap done. And it turns out I have cervical HPV. Is it possible that I had this for a while now and my cervix is now just showing it? I was told cervical HPV changes the cells in your cervix after so long. But wouldn’t the test have came back positive the first time whether the cells were changed or not just from strains of HPV?? Maybe i tested too early soon after? I got tested only a week after we first got together...Someone help me I’m so confused 😢😢

Cause I honestly dont feel I’ve been cheated on, my SO is very good to me. Never have I felt suspicious about his actions. And honestly he’s with me most the time so I can’t even think of a time he might have cheated and I wouldn’t know??

But if what i stated above is untrue about the virus not coming up positive for a while then he cheated and i need to face the facts...
