Hi, I’m 21 and after a very stressful few months I got diagnosed yesterday with a fibroadenoma ( non-cancerous tumour) in my breast

I’m just wondering if anyone else has had one and if you opted for surgery? Mines 2.8cm long and they said usually anything over 3cm they’d operate to remove it.

They told me it’s completely my choice at the moment for surgery because I’ve had it for over 12 weeks and it constantly changes but they said the surgery scar would be noticeable on my breasts.

Has anyone else had one and did you opt for surgery or not?

Mine gets very very painful and it fluctuates in size week by week. But Im scared of the scar.

So I’m really unsure what to do
