Implantation bleeding or period?

I’m on CD24 and my period isn’t supposed to come until next week (7 days). I’m very regular and average a 30 day cycle. My husband and I were having sex this morning and we realized there was blood coming from me.
When I cleaned myself up, it was kind of pink/red - kind of brown. It certainly wasn’t as thick as a period.
Could this be implantation bleeding or my period early?
