How many words for little one so far?

Question

I noticed my toddler since 12 months he could say 4 words
Mama, dada, go, & no 
Now 15 months but no other words since then; otherwise, he will just babble on. Is this something I should be concern about?

Thank you ladies... We are also a bilingual household so I know that can also slow down his vocabulary I guess, double the words to comprehend. We do the one parent one language only method (I only speak English to him and husband strictly speaks Spanish to him)

My son communicates through signs and vocalization. So for instance he knows the word brush but he can sign differently if he wants to brush teeth or brush hair. So he knows about 8 signs and about 8 words not for the same things though. My son loves words with sh sounds or s sounds so those have been the easiest to teach. He understands more then he can vocalize and he cannot complete words such as bubble he says bub or ball ba. We just keep trying though. He is understanding more of animals sounds and his anatomy too so those have been what we are currently working on.

My daughter knows about 60 words and is starting to put them together (e.g. more cup, go outside). But her being able to do that is pretty uncommon and girls typically develop language skills quicker than boys, I think by 18 months they could be saying 10 or so words.
I wouldn't be too concerned but if there is any worry you should definitely talk to his doctor ☺️

My son says over 20 words 😅 but doesn’t put them in phrases or anything, he just says the words that he wants. Sometimes over and over (one day he said “hi” for 3 hours straight.. it was cute but kind of annoying after a while.” 
That said, my son is advanced in that aspect.  At this age most kids should be saying around 3-5 words so your little one is right on track! I wouldn’t worry until they aren’t saying more words closer to 18-24 months.
