He was obsessed with me pulled a gun on me with my new born baby in my hand and tried to make me come inside with him and then he pushed me over the couch while I just had a c section . He was highly obsessed with me and use to break into my house while I was gone and he will be gone when I got back . My sister once saw him climbing up my fire escape into my house while I was gone . I called the cops and he moved away and I got rid of him ! He moved back in town he don’t bother me I never even see him anymore and I moved on and got a new boyfriend

It's complicated, 
Basically, I wasn't happy enough with him because none of my needs were met.
Basic long term incompatibility which was brought to light sooner because of covid & the protests. We lived together during quarantine 2 months, that seemed to kill our relationship. 
It was mostly that he doesn't talk about his feelings because he doesn't think about them. I find that weird & unhealthy and difficult for me to handle. 
Whenever I am upset, he helps in person, and it's hit or miss, he doesn't really get me. Away from him, he tends to piss me off when I'm already upset. So he's not good emotional support. 
Once I said I was sad & he ignored me all day. 
Then, we were just too different. He is a Christian that likes conspiracy theories, and I am a Nietzschian (more or less) that likes evaluating information critically. After awhile, it was hard to talk about certain subjects, and hard to get intellectual stimulation in the relationship. 
Our sex life tanked, as sex lives do, and he was not that kinky at all, so it was already not what I really want? Like, just on a psychological level, I started not feeling desire for him after awhile. He would just do and say things that turned me off very much- which is new for me.
I was bored to death because it was all small talk, and I'm just not that person at all. Especially when I moved out. Both of us barely made an effort to talk and I was constantly emotionally starved.
This breakup was my easiest. I felt relieved to end it. Even though it took me forever to decide that was best.
I really like my ex a lot as a person, and it was a good relationship before. He's a very good person, very kind.

He had anger issues combined with depression and bipolar but he refused to take his medication and would self medicate with alcohol instead. He was an alcoholic and would verbally abuse me that sometimes turned physical.
