So every time during my period my actual vagina hurts, not just cramps, it’s just recently started happening and I’m wondering if it’s normal. And it if is how do I stop it, and if it isn’t, does it happen to anyone else? 😫

I have the same when I'm on period, in addition to everything else.
AND IT SUCKS!
It is due to the menstrual hormonal changes, and these changes can cause sensitive tissues within the vagina/vulva to become swollen, inflamed, or dry and uncomfortable.
Pain types and levels varies from person to person, however, no, it is not uncommon to have this type of pain on your period.
