Implantation Bleeding vs. Period?

Can someone please explain to me the difference between the two? When should you expect pregnancy spotting/implantation bleeding?

Answer

Implantation bleeding is very rare.
Only 10-15% of women will actually have it.
It would happen 6-12 days after ovulation or before your period is due.
It is very very light spotting only. 
It’s light pink or light brown.
It cannot last more than 2 days.
You would know the difference.
