Bf didn’t want to have sex on our anniversary

It was our 4 year anniversary and he didn’t want to have sex:( he was really melancholy and kind of sad. He said he was sad bc of how much he loves me and how much he doesn’t want to say goodbye. He wasn’t making a lot of sense. And then he said he hopes I’m not sad/mad he didn’t want sex. Don’t get me wrong I love my baby, we had a really fun day too! I felt so close to him and so in love. But it was a disappointment we didn’t get to make love on our anniversary.
