My OB and fertility specialist both recommended against laying down, soft cups or any other act that prohibits semen from leaving the vagina after sex because sperm gets where it needs to be almost immediately and keeping semen in only increases the chance of infection. They both said the best thing to do after sex is get up and go pee.

Not at all. I pee so I don’t get a UTI. Laying down doesn’t increase chance of pregnancy.
