12 week old Baby feeding less??

Question

My baby was consuming about 125-150ml of formula every 3-4 hours and as of yesterday he has only been taking in about 75ml and 125ml if I’m lucky every 2.5-3 hours. Why could this be happening? I’m a FTM. Is it possible he’s going through a growth spurt and will go back to normal soon? The few days before this he was consuming more formula than normal.

For my kids it’s very normal to have changes in appetite, assuming all else is same (no fever, still happy, poop/pee consistently). It can be stressful when it seems like they aren’t eating enough but I remember to trust their cues and am ready to offer milk/food whenever they finally get hungry.

My 11week old was eating 30oz when he was 8-10weeks old and eating every 2.5-3hrs and now dropped down to 25oz and eating every 4hrs. I think he went through a growth spurt and now is leveling out. He sleeps through the night and naps well during the day so I’m not concerned of his drop in eating. He’s EBF though

As long as they eat 1 oz for every hour they haven't my doctor says they're fine. I took my girl in and she said it was fine
