So it’s my anniversary in September. My hubs and I always try to go and explore a new national park. Here’s the problem, My husband and I are having a hard time with money at the moment. He switched jobs before I had our 1st so that I could be a SAHM. This transition has been so hard going from 2 paychecks down to 1 1/2 (his new jobs pays a little better). We knew we couldn’t go on a trip with just our paycheck so I started doing odd jobs to save for this trip. We have the money we need to go buy me doing these jobs nothing is coming out of his paycheck. We have been so excited to go then today my sister says that we shouldn’t be going on the trip because we are too poor.

This isn’t just any trip. We take ONE a year. This is a big one too. Here’s why we planned a week out of state to see 3 national parks.

1.) with this new job of my husband he has been working 60-70 hr weeks for 8 months! He needs a freaking break!!

2.) we didn’t get to go on one last year.

3.) we want to start a tradition of going on a family trip once a year.

4.) to celebrate the little life we brought into this world during this crazy and stressful time.

Anyways I’m super stressed out about this trip now and I want to cancel it because we could really use this money to pay debts/bills. We leave in two days. Help!
