Rest in peace, Cosmo. Our beautiful Maine Coon I grew up with passed away suddenly today. Just 10 years old. We have no idea what happened. Mom told me he was fine this morning. Then he was throwing up and he was breathing slower. She rushed him to the vet where he passed away before they could run any tests. I'm bawling my eyes out. This boy was there for me through all those tears in high school and always brought me so much comfort and joy. I can't believe this just happened. I miss him so much already. It hurts so bad. 😭

Update: though no tests were able to be done, the vet thinks it might have been an accidental poisoning. He might have ingested something poisonous. We don't even know what. It's so hard because he's always been a perfectly healthy cat. And just like that, he died.
