Not necessarily. Those tests are super sensitive and are designed to pick up hcg before a missed period. I’d anticipate dark lines after a missed period.

Darkness in test lines don’t mean anything in terms of amount of hcg in your system. You could have more hcg in your urine at one time compared to another. Hcg quantity and ultrasound can only determine how far along you are.
