So long story short this past week my moms husband decided that he was going to talk about BLM and how all lives matter with his grandkids when my son (3) and I came over. He continued his nonsense even in our presence so we left and I told my mom it was unacceptable and we wouldn’t be around that crap. She asked us if we’d sit down and talk like adults. My husband and I agreed and she said she’d talk with hers and get back to me. I heard nothing for a week and then get a text that basically said no family dinner this week but next week lets go to a park. I am just beyond pissed. I’ve gone no contact until they ask to sit down and talk ( and change) bc no way will my kid get that crap from family. I’m really hurt by all this and just needed a space to vent.
