Hey everyone, I'm freaking out because I'm not getting the side effect of the copper iud. I got the iud on july 23 and on that date I took a pregnancy test at hospital before having iud inserted and it was negative. When I got the iud inserted, i didn't take no pain medication and it didn't hurt as bad as other women described. I only cramped little, amd my vagina feel dry.

My period is light, no cramping and my boobs hurt. My normal period is heavy, very crampy and my boobs hurt before my period start.

Also I started drinking more water and exercise. Not having any vaginal sex.

So is it more normal to get the opposite effect of the copper iud??
