Pissed off

My boyfriend of two years 6 year old son was curing and saying to other siblings “ kiss my ass mf “ like 10 times and I asked him were he gonna say anything and he said no. So I left it alone until 5 more curse words after that and said “ you need to stop saying those words , you can’t even use the restroom by yourself at night “ he got mad and said I was starting stuff , and said he no longer wanted to go out for dinner or treat someone who isn’t appreciative. Now isn’t saying anything to me , btw it’s my damn house. Was I wrong? Btw I’m African American and my parents use to always say that to my my cousins say “ you can’t even spell to 10 but cursing “ those phrases. He said I should stay in my place.... weird..
