Should I do all the chores if he pays all the rent?

We discussed this before I moved in. He didn't WANT me paying any of the rent. I pay for groceries and utilities, which is still pretty hefty. Suddenly he has an issue doing ANY chores. I mean ANY. I work 40 hours a week and still have to come home and slave around the house because he says that's only fair if he pays all the rent. He literally sits around and WATCHES me exhaustedly running around doing things while playing games on his phone.

If your both working both the work should be even. If you agreed on what to pay before moving in.. chores shouldn’t depend on that. Depending on how much rent is maybe just start splitting all bills 50/50 and chores the same

Soo just because he pays rent makes him superior smh, why would you even continue to stay with someone like that. My guy works and cleans just because that's how he was raised and he loves to help me out.

You both work, you both can do chores. Only way it'd be okay is of I worked part time and they worked full. I stay at home with our baby so I do all the cleaning but I enjoy cleaning so I don't mind at all I wouldn't mind working and cleaning either if he helped watch the children. Sometimes men need to be told flat out" I need help cleaning this or that, or could you clean the kitchen while I clean the bathrooms"? Stuff like that.

My husband pays everything. And he still has to take the trash out, clean the back porch/pool area whenever he throws his bbq’s. He also likes to fold towels lmao idk why

Sorry, I clicked yes from the headline assuming he was the only one working and paying all the bills/expenses, not just rent. If you both work full time then you should definitely be 50/50 on the chores.
When my husband and I both worked full time I did all the cooking and grocery shopping, he did all the outside chores, we both did laundry, and we had a housekeeper come in to do most of the other cleaning. We just decided we wanted our time off together spent relaxing or doing fun things, not bickering over whose turn it was to clean the bathroom.
