How often should I bathe my newborn?

How often should I give my newborn a bath? He also has baby acne right now so I want to at least wipe his face with a warm wash cloth every day before I apply breast milk.

Every 3 days I washed mine. Bathing everyday can cause you to strip away natural oils that their skin needs which then can cause skin problems when they grow. Top and tail every day (face and bum)

I waited 4 weeks on his first submerged bath and did wipe downs with a wet rag. Like thorough. He had some bad baby acne until about 3 months old not like crazy but it was all over his face and would come and go. Just keep it clean. I didnt lotion his face ever I still do not. I used very little lotion if possible.

My son is a little over 2 weeks old and he has had 3 baths. Their skin is sensitive and he doesn’t do anything to get dirty so we don’t bother. We do wipe his neck and face as he is a messy eater.
