My boyfriend and I have been together for 1 year. We have talked about having kids once we are married. We planned to get married in about a year.

I just found out I’m pregnant. I was going to surprise him with a banner on his bday in a few days that says “happy birthday dad!”

I think he will be happy about the unplanned baby but I’m also afraid he will react badly. I want to celebrate this baby but I’m not sure how he will react. We are very well off financially and in our 30s so money is not an issue in regards to having a baby. I’d like your honest opinions
