Favorite garbage can to keep kids out? I’ve had to keep ours on the counter top and I’m not a fan.

we have a small wastebasket under the sink. the cabinets have child locks on them. but we've always had our trash under the sink, even before baby! I dont like the look of a big ole trash can out faking up space haha

I just ordered a new simplehuman one that has a locking lid. We have the same one already but the lock doesn't seem to work anymore, we've had it for years. It kept my first son out so hopefully the new one will work for this little trouble maker 😂

We put a baby lock on the outside of our trash can to keep it shut as needed.. mostly just need it when it’s really full

We have a tall cabinet in our kitchen where the trash can sits. It's always been in there. There is a child lock on the cabinet door. We've taught her that only trash goes in there. I let her throw her diapers or other trash away. She never seems to have an interest in getting things out of it. My parents have one that you have to press down with your foot to open and it seems to keep her out of trash when she is there too.
