Weird symptoms, TTC for a year+

Alyssa

My man and I have been TTC for over a year now. I have PCOS, and hardly ever ovulate. I recently started metformin (about 3 weeks ago. Not long) and finally got past the nausea from the medication after about 2 weeks. Since I don’t ovulate much, I don’t know what it feels like, and with the PCOS, I’ve read that many women who struggle with this, always get positive OPKs. I don’t take them because of this. About 4-5 days ago, I was a little nauseas, felt like I had butterflies in my stomach (which I contributed to a panic attack maybe, but it lasted a few hours and my attacks never last that long.), and I didn’t want to eat anything. Not necessarily nausea, but I just didn’t feel well. I wanted to sleep for 12 hours a day and just felt off. I posted in another group and got told that it was probably me ovulating. The next day, I had slight cramping (didn’t feel like period cramps at all.), and felt bad again. I never had any blood or spotting with it. I figured it was just the progesterone from ovulating. We had sex every other night this cycle. I’ve had a bit more frequent urination (I’ve also drank more water though), hot flashes like no other, sudden bursts of nausea that last a few minutes and then go away, and I either want to eat everything, or nothing at all. This morning, I got up for work and had VERY light pink spotting. I barely even noticed it. I have very irregular periods (only had 3 this year so far) but they never come on in such a light pink color. There was barely anything. Last night, I had a couple tiny sharp pains in my left side (I thought it was my ovary. It happens sometimes with the PCOS), but it wasn’t unbearable. I haven’t tested or anything yet, and I only have the pregmate tests from amazon right now. I’m not sure how accurate they are, so I might get a different one. I hate testing because every time I get a negative, I’m always devastated. But this is the first time I’ve actually thought I’ve ovulated since we’ve begun TTC. Any tips for conception if Im not, and is there a chance I could be pregnant? I’m not really having any other symptoms, and don’t want to get my hopes up. If I could be pregnant, when should I test? With the irregular periods, I don’t really have a “missed period” day. But I’m also scared to take one because I hate only seeing one line on the strip. Sorry this was so long. Please let me know what you think, and baby dust to you all ❤️✨
