I went to visit my OB/GYN back in July, we decided to start on Metformin for PCOS and I was advised (per usually) to lose some weight. I am to follow up in October to see how my cycles are and then possibly add clomid. My questions is should I go ahead and get an appointment with REI for around the same time as my follow up? My fiancé doesn’t want to because she doesn’t want to shell out the money, if they’re gonna tell us the same thing as my OB. But my thinking is, if my OB/GYN says everything is good and wants to refer, what if I have to wait even longer because I need to get in with REI?
