We did sponge baths probably longer than most. From the belly button to the circumcision we were really careful with him, more so then necessary. But he LOVES his bath so now it’s a nightly routine .

After I had my daughter see got a sponge bath after arriving home. Giving the virus I will be doing the same when our second enters the world. I personally want to because of what the baby is getting exposed to at the hospital. But my opinion is based on how my local hospital is handling staff exposures to the virus. I rather wash myself and baby well once home. Also not trying to argue with anyone. I work at my local hospital as a nurse and just going to do what I think will be best for baby

My son is a month old now and has only had sponge baths so far. He was circumcised around 2 weeks old and couldn't submerge anything until it healed, and had complications so it took a bit longer... And now he's going to get his first real bath tonight.
