Want to be a teen mom?

Is there anyone who wanted or wants to be a teen mom? I’m only 18 and I can’t shake “baby fever” it’s been months😩. I really want a baby even with the pros and cons. I’m not crazy right ? Or am I tripping??

If you’re in a situation where you can do it financially and mentally then I’d say go for it. Most of the time, (not saying it’s impossible) at 18 you’re just starting to figure out what you want to do in life n what not and it may not be the best decision. I’d say it’s important to make sure the father of your child is someone who you can rely on n what not.

I’m 18 and my baby was planned. Currently 24 weeks with my son and my fiancé and I couldn’t be anymore excited. However, with making a life changing decision like that means to make sure you are in a financially good spot and also a good, very healthy and stable relationship. It took over a year for my boyfriend and I to talk about even thinking of trying for a baby, and we had to start by making some changes in our relationship to improve communication and to make sure we were a good support system for each other. We also made sure we had our own place and were able to put ourselves in a position to take on a baby financially. Becoming a young mom on purpose should never ever be something to be ashamed of, I embrace it every day and we are very open about how our baby boy was 100% planned. But, it’s true that there are some things in your life you need to make sure of and possibly change so that you and baby are in a good situation 💓💓

I did, I was 17. I was also married and had been moved out for a year with my boyfriend that I’ve had since middle school. He had a great job that allowed me to stay home and we had amazing support from both our families. We’re now pregnant with our third 3.5 years later.

I’m a bit late but wanted to comment anyways! I’m currently 19 and am feeling the exact same way. My dream has always been to be a mum, as corny as it sounds I feel as thought it’s what I’m meant to do. I have been with my boyfriend for over a year and we both agree we want kids young. We both work full time and I am financially stable. We are planning to move to a different country (which is getting pushed back due to Covid) so we planning to start trying when we got over there as we will be living alone etc. however I just cannot shake this feeling of wanting a baby. I’m never not thinking about it I swear😂 part of me is like no your still young wait a little longer at least but then I’m like we are stable & we can easily get pregnant then move out within the 9 months.
