when to test? HELP!

idk when to test! i read online with having a 30 day cycle to test on the 14th or 15th. but some says to count as spotting as the first day of your period. so a few things said i could rest on wednesday the 12th wtf. i started actually bleeding on july 19th. i spotted the day prior on the 18th. my cycle is usually 30-31 days. & i just stopped my pill about a month ago because we decided to try to conceive we have a 2 years old. & we got pregnant a year ago and it turned to be a partial molar pregnancy. & i had to be on birth control for 6 months but i wanted to take it an extra 6 more months to heal. so when do i test? i had light spotting only on toilet paper today for about 2-3 hrs it was light pink and definitely nothing that i would need a liner for. HELP! i don’t want i take a test to early even if it’s an early detection test!
