Do you think it’s rude to answer every phone call during a date?

So I went on two dates with this guy. Date #1 his sister calls him & he answers. The call was a little important so I didn’t mind. Date #2 I felt like he just kept answering every phone call that came through. And 100% of the time (this time) it was never anything serious. Just his friends wanting to talk to try hanging out. He didn’t stay on the calls for too long (maybe about 5 minutes?) but I was starting to get annoyed b/c like why do U have to pick up every call that comes through ? Especially if it’s not family. 
I feel like if it’s important they’ll either call again or text you. He’d apologize after each call but those apologies just became empty words after call #3 of “broooo where you at ?” 
Am I wrong for getting annoyed ? Would you consider this as being rude?

Dude I'd be so annoyed! And he wouldn't be getting a 3rd date.. ever! Like you said if it was important/emergency by all means there is no issue there.. but your ass is on a date and you're just answering all your friends calls... hell no! Just imagine how he'd be treating you by month 4 🙄🙄🙄

Depends how he acts.
I’ll always answer phone calls because On the slight chance that it IS serious or urgent, I don’t want to end up regretting not answering that phone call.
However, if I was on a date and I answered a call, and it was a friend just wanting to chat, I’d quickly say “hey sorry not to be rude but I’m on a date, I’ll call you later though!”. Then I’d hang up, apologize to my date, and get back into it.

Calls from family - no issues.  Calls from buddies I would consider to be ones he could call back.  If those were truly an emergency, they would likely text or call right back.

I'd be annoyed. You should be the focus on the date, not the phone. He shouldn't even have his phone on for notification in my opinion

I would be pissed. If it’s family, then I’d answer but if it wasn’t I would just say I gotta go, I’m busy. If it’s the friends, then I’d ignore because I’m sure if it was important then they would call again or message.
