When did you sleep train? And what method?

I always said I didn’t want to sleep train but as we approach 5 months I’m starting to reconsider... I’m desperate for sleep. My baby is up every 2 hours and takes hours to be put down for bed each time so every time he wakes up it’s about 1.5 hours or more to get him back to sleep. I know it’s part of the normal sleep regression but I’m trying to prepare for if it doesn’t get better on its own after the leap is over because it’s been like this for awhile now.
