Covid and Pregnancy?

Has anyone had an experience of testing positive during pregnancy? I think I was exposed yesterday and I’m SO worried about it I can’t even sleep

I personally haven’t but my friend who is also pregnant tested positive. She said the symptoms she had were the same as a little cold  🤷🏻‍♀️ it wasn’t a big deal for her at all. I would be worried as well just because you never know with this virus how you will react but everyone I know who has had it has barely had any symptoms and those who have been exposed that I know of have all tested negative. I think the media exaggerates a ton. That being said, obviously it’s still important to be careful and try to avoid it but try not to worry too much :)

One of my sister in laws worked as a care giver and her patient tested positive and she had to get tested as well as my other sister in law because they smoked together . We had gone over but to my in laws house where one of them stayed so my one year old , my husband and i (37 weeks pregnant ) were exposed but we came out negative ! The one that worked as a care giver unfortunately tested positive yesterday, so be hopeful you don’t have it ❤️ keep me updated please

I’ve not been exposed, but i have a friend who is a nurse in the peds unit and she says that covid does not pass through the placenta, so baby should be safe even if you did test positive. Just stay hydrated and quarantine if you can. Good luck. ☺️
