Hi ladies I just had my first appointment with an RE today after already having an initial video consultation. I got a procedure done similar to an HSG but it was a saline infusion- the doctor inserted an HSG catheter and used saline instead (for the purposes of having me seen sooner rather than waiting the two months wait for a normal HSG). No matter how well they prepped me, it was PAINFUL. I took ibuprofen before hand and took deep breaths. They were able to see that my uterus shape is normal, my endometrium is normal and they were able to visualize open tubes. I was very happy once they removed the catheter, the intense cramps stopped instantly. I am still in a little bit of pain. I don’t have official numbers or results they also drew labs. But so far the doctor said it looks like I am about to ovulate on one side- I saw a follicle reading measurring 26. Which is so surprising to me because this is CD22. Do you ladies think I should give it a shot and BD today since based on measurements I am about to ovulate? I am waiting on lab work results for AMH and other values but so far he has a good feeling those will be normal too. Ive been TTC for over a year with 1 MMC so I am feeling a little hopefully about my results.
