First photo taken of me in 3 years

So senior ball was such a big thing for me and it was my dream to go. It was such a stressful day I was on the train for 6 hours before the ball trying to get there in time to get ready. I was on a tight budget so the dress and the ticket was the only thing I paid for. My hair and makeup was done by a friend and I couldn’t of chosen a better person to do it and I’m incredibly grateful that she took the time to do it. My jewellery and shoes were from my cousins ball outfit that I was borrowing. Since I got diagnosed with Graves’ disease I refused to be in any photos for years, I just felt ugly. I was always insecure about my eyes and got bullied for it a lot. I’m so happy I went through with taking photos and I’ll cherish these with my life. Since the ball I’ve felt so confident and beautiful.
