So while this isn’t really breast feeding related I wasn’t quite sure where to post. With my first my breasts definitely increased in size by week 16 of pregnancy (one cup maybe 2). I nursed my son until 11 months when he stopped out of the blue. I continued to pump for 5 more months until the middle of July. I also happened to be 8 weeks pregnant at this point and my supply really decreased and I was ready to stop. My breasts had also returned back to their pre-pregnancy size by this point. I’m now 12ish weeks pregnant and haven’t really noticed the same breast symptoms as my first pregnancy. They haven’t been sore and also haven’t increased in size at all. I know every pregnancy is different. I just know it was a lot of changes for my body at once with stopping milk production and being pregnant. However, I’m interested to get the perspective of other moms who produced milk into their second pregnancy. Did your breast change in the same way as the first pregnancy? Or did it come later or not at all? Did you go on to produce fine for baby #2? It’s hard to not worry about future milk production if my breasts don’t go through the “proper” changes this time around. Just curious... thanks!
