Bye bye baby wipes... your experiences?

How do reusable wipes work exactly? What if the diaper is full of #2? It’s either on the cloth diaper, or my cloth wipes... 🤷‍♀️ how do you get it in the toilet and not the washing machine?

Do I have to stop using diaper creams? Should I keep some disposable wipes around in case we do need to resort to zinc or petroleum based products?

Do any of you have experience using the Norwex baby body cloths? That was my top choice (so far).

Ive been using cloth wipes. I cut up some soft flannel fabric and use a diy solution (water, Castille soap, coconut oil) and haven’t had any issues so far. I told them in such a way that I can put them in an old plastic disposable wipe container and they pull out like Kleenex tissues so one is always right there ready for next time. I have used zinc products occasionally with cloth and just hand wash it out of the fibers after it’s washed in the regular cycle. But baby hasn’t had any issues at all with rash since switching to my cloth wipes. 🤷‍♀️ I do keep disposable on hand just in case because...just in case lolWe have a toilet sprayer attachment that we installed to spray really nasty diapers out. Same with wipes. Just spray em out. Look on Pinterest for a diy spray shield bucket.

I made about 120 or so squares of flannel fabric. I do a wash load of diapers and wipes per day and haven’t run out of wipes yet. I think I bought 2 yards of fabric and just made as many squares as possible out of that.

How many reusable wipes have you found to be necessary?
